Hugh Jackman said he was truly done playing the character of Wolverine after Logan (2017)
Narrative
Deadpool is offered a place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe by the Time Variance Authority, but instead recruits a variant of Wolverine to save his universe from extinction. Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman explore memorable credits, interesting facts, achievements, and trivia pulled straight from their IMDb name pages. He later said he regretted that statement after watching the first Deadpool movie and expressed to Ryan his interest in the two characters meeting on the big screen. When asked why he chose to return for this film, he simply replied, “I just wanted to do it and I felt it in my gut,” adding that he wanted to have the best time possible on the film set with Ryan Reynolds. Reynolds had wanted to work alongside Jackman since the first Deadpool movie and was saddened when he (Jackman) stepped away from the role.

As Wolverine and Deadpool are on their odyssey in the Honda Odyssey, the car clock jumps forward three hours during their conversation… Elliot Chipman: That’s Deadpool. Kevin Chipman: That’s Wolverine. Deadpool: Seriously, that’s it. Disney brought him back.
My first review

I’m not a huge Marvel fan, but I watched all of Deadpool and loved it.
I’ll keep it short: go watch it!
I don’t know what it was about, but I thought it was funny, and it seemed like all of the theater did, too. All the jokes are spot on, the acting is great (with a few exceptions), the action is fantastic – all in all a movie I would recommend to anyone who can stomach a bit of adult (and childish) humor and gore. The story is OK, nothing special, but the execution makes up for it. The cameos are also, for my money, great. And one more thing: the pacing is perfect too – 2 hours flew by.
