An agnostic sex podcaster and a newly single rabbi fall in love; discover if their relationship will survive their very different lives and meddling families. Original title “Shiksa” which is also the last word spoken in the first episode. Adam Brody and Kristen Bell have incredible on-screen chemistry. I really enjoyed this show – it was so much better than I expected. It was easy to watch, easy to understand, super funny and charming throughout its 10 episodes. I do wish the episodes were a bit longer though – they avoided about 26-30 minutes per episode, but that made it super easy to watch. I watched the whole thing in one sitting last night. I can’t wait for Netflix to confirm another season. If they don’t get another one, I’ll be disappointed. It’s been a bit of a lull, so I need more. I’m already starting my second rewatch of the show.
