Remake of Le bureau des légendes (2015)
I don’t understand all the negativity in the reviews – yes, its pacing isn’t in Bourne territory, but it’s suspenseful, fabulously acted and holds your attention.
Fassbender is again excellent and unlike most spy dramas, he’s actually quite believable
I haven’t seen the French original before this so forgive me if I don’t give a comparison, but it would be a shame if any negative comparisons stopped the enjoyment of this.
Don’t let any of the negativity stop you from watching, it’s worth your time
Maybe the concerns about the pacing come from binge-watching culture – it’s probably slow if you want to watch multiple episodes in one sitting – but I honestly can’t see any problem with that.
