Growing up in the Amazon rainforest gave Autumn the unlikeliest of friendships: a lost jaguar she found named Hope. When a tragic event forces Autumn to leave Hope for the unknown in New York, she dreams of returning to the rainforest and her longtime boyfriend. At 14 and accustomed to city life, Autumn discovers that her childhood town is threatened by animal traffickers and decides she must return to the Amazon with her beloved jaguar. Anya (Emily Beth Rickards), Autumn’s lovably clumsy biology teacher, tries unsuccessfully to talk her out of this reckless plan. Accompanied by Anya, Autumn sets out on a journey to reunite with Hope and save her from those who seek to destroy the rainforest and wildlife.
