In THE GUTER, when the often-kicked-off Walt (Shameik Moore) lands at the bar and kicks off his shoes at the local AlleyCatz bowling alley, he feels like he’s finally found a home. When the AlleyCatz run into financial trouble, Walt is forced by former bowler and current Skunk drinking champion (D’Arcy Carden) to accept his role as the greatest bowler who ever lived. While Walt’s love of big checks and in-your-face style dominates the pro tour, his detractors, including ratings-obsessed Angel Powers and bowling legend Linda “The Crusher” Curson (Susan) Sarandon, furiously try to extinguish Walt’s flame. before it burns too hot.
