Narrative

He soon meets his equal in a persistent British intelligence officer who tracks him down in an exciting cat-and-mouse chase across Europe.. "Day of the Jackal" The novel is set in 1963 and includes an assassination attempt on the then president of France, Charles de Gaulle.
Remake of The Day of the Jackal (1973)
Yes, it’s a reboot, but they made it a great first one. Redmayne is fantastic as the cold jackal killer! Excellent scenery in some beautiful parts of Europe.
It keeps you intrigued all the way through
The only detractor is the main MI6 agent who is bland and unimaginative. Since it’s one of my favorite books, I was skeptical of another remake after the train wreck that was Bruce Willis’ move. Day of the Jackal, however, grabbed my attention right from the start and kept it locked for the first five episodes.
All in all, a very entertaining series
Hopefully the rest of the season will live up to the first half. The new season of "Silos" is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month. Check out our November calendar for more!
